Jonathan Stern, Founder, CEO and Chief Scientist Web Profile: www.zoominfo.com/JonathanStern Jonathan Stern founded ZoomInfo (formerly Eliyon Technologies Corporation) in 2000 and is its chief executive officer and chief scientist. For more than 30 years, Stern has been active in research in cognitive sciences, developing useful products based on algorithms which track the way people reason. In May 2008, Stern co-founded Bizo, Inc., a spin-off of ZoomInfo’s bizographic advertising business unit, which is focused on building the largest targeted B2B advertising platform in the world to penetrate the multi-billion dollar online advertising market. Prior to ZoomInfo, Stern founded CardScan in 1993 (formerly Corex Technologies Corp.) and was president and CEO from the company's inception to its acquisition in 2006. Under his leadership, CardScan became the leading business card reading solution, reaching over 90% market share due to its superior character and text recognition and parsing algorithms. In 1999, CardScan was named in Inc. Magazine's prestigious Inc. 500 list as one of the fastest growing private companies in America. In 1998, 1999, and 2001, Stern was a finalist in Ernst & Young "Entrepreneur of the Year" award competition. Before CardScan, Stern co-founded ServiceSoft (formerly Rosh Intelligent Systems), where he served as president and CEO for 10 years. ServiceSoft was a leading provider of expert system tools designed for the diagnostic, repair and maintenance of complicated equipment. Key customers included field service organizations of companies like Xerox, Applied Materials, Philips and Siemens. ServiceSoft was acquired by Kana Software, Inc. where its powerful and flexible expert system is being used for online self-service applications. Stern served in the Israeli Army for five years, advancing to the rank of Major. During his service, the President of the State of Israel awarded Stern a medal of distinction for outstanding technical achievements contributing to the security of the country. Stern earned both a master's and bachelor's degree cum laude in computer science from The Technion, Israel's most prestigious institute of technology. |

In his previous role, Zales was the president and CEO of BuyerZone, the leading Internet marketplace for business purchasing. While at BuyerZone, he led the company from 2000 through its sale to Reed Business Information, a division of Reed Elsevier (NYSE: RUK), in January 2007 until November of 2008. He grew BuyerZone through the challenging environment of the dotcom bubble, to rapid revenue and profit growth by focusing the company's operating and marketing efforts to solidify BuyerZone market leadership position. Prior to leading BuyerZone, Sam served as vice president of card marketing at American Express where he was responsible for the highly successful launch of the company's corporate purchasing card. During his nine-year tenure at American Express, Sam also led the successful development of numerous customer acquisition and retention marketing programs for both the company's Corporate Services and Consumer Card divisions. Before American Express, Sam worked as a management consultant at Bain and Company in Boston. Zales graduated with honors with a BA from Dartmouth and received a MBA with distinction from Northwestern. Along with acting as an Advisor to several high-tech companies, Sam serves on the New England Board of Directors of the American Technion Society-Israel Institute of Technology. He also serves on the Board of Temple Isaiah in Lexington, MA. Zales is co-Chair of the Martin Luther King Day Commemoration in Lexington. He is Head Class Agent for Dartmouth College and has served as Admissions volunteer for the Kellogg School of Management. |

Bryan Burdick, Corporate Development Officer Web Profile: www.zoominfo.com/BryanBurdick As Corporate Development Officer of ZoomInfo, Bryan Burdick is responsible for driving ZoomInfo’s continued growth through sales, partnerships and business development. Under his leadership and direction, the company has delivered record growth. Burdick has also served as the SVP and managing director of consumer products for Go2Net (purchased by InfoSpace) and SVP of marketing for Reality Online, Inc., a Reuters Company. Currently, Burdick serves on the advisory board for Vivisimo, Inc., an enterprise search company. He is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business. Burdick is often quoted in the media as an expert on the recruiting and marketing fields, as well as search technologies. Michel Décary, Co-Founder and Senior Scientist Web Profile: www.zoominfo.com/MichelDecary With 20 years of natural language processing experience, Michel Décary co-founded ZoomInfo and serves as its senior scientist. He is responsible for developing the company's core technology. Prior to ZoomInfo, in 1998, Décary founded Cogilex R&D, Inc., a supplier of natural language processing software tools, where he designed new methods for syntactical parsing based on the dependency syntax theory and developed a new approach to rule-driven semantic extraction. Cogilex tools are used by a variety of innovative service providers and major corporations. From 1994 to 1997, Décary was a lecturer at McGill University and a research associate with the Laboratory of Applied Cognitive Science where he worked on computer-based text analysis and representation. He co-authored several papers and book chapters about his Coda-X system for the semantic analysis of English text. From 1989 to 1994, Décary was the CEO of Neurox Research, Inc., a Montreal-based company specializing in natural language processing primarily for the Canadian Armed Forces. Prior to Neurox, Decary co-founded Logiciels Machina Sapiens, Inc. in 1985 and was its president until 1989. While at Machina Sapiens, he designed the company's first version of an award-winning French grammatical checker. In 1989, Machina Sapiens won the prestigious MICA award for research excellence by CIEQ (Conseil de l'industrie électronique du Québec) and its current products are considered among the best in the world in its category. Décary holds a B.A. in linguistics and an M.Sc. in computer science from Université de Montréal. He also pursued doctoral studies in computational linguistics at Université de Montréal and in applied linguistics at McGill University. |

William Wechtenhiser, Vice President of Engineering
Prior to this position, Wechtenhiser held the position of vice president at Goldman Sachs where he headed up the Information Design group and was responsible for firm-wide application design and data modeling efforts. Prior to Goldman Sachs he worked as director at Adobe Systems where he oversaw the creation and release of Adobe Flex Data Services as part of his work on enterprise solutions. Wechtenhiser has a BS in computational cognitive science from MIT. |
